We are all so grateful that our community has seen a lessening of COVID-19 cases. Much of the progress is due to our continuing to be vigilant. Wearing masks, getting vaccinated and maintaining safe distances in crowds have all helped.
We continue to do all we can to protect our employees and the public.
We continue to require face masks for those visiting our facility. Individuals who have been vaccinated may be massless.
Employees at BlooMoon who have been vaccinated are not required to wear a mask.
Should any of us at BlooMoon become infected, all of us would need to quarantine. That would require BlooMoon to close the doors for a minimum of 14 days. The additional worry over how severe the illness could be for our individual staff members is large.
So we ask you to join with us in doing what we can for each other. Wear a mask. Maintain social distance. Wash your hands.

While people who are sick or know that they have COVID-19 should isolate at home, COVID-19 can be spread by people who do not have symptoms and do not know that they are infected. That’s why it’s important for everyone to practice social distancing (staying at least 6 feet away from other people) and wear cloth face coverings in public settings. Cloth face coverings provide an extra layer to help prevent the respiratory droplets from traveling in the air and onto other people.
BlooMoon is considered an essential business. We have remained open through out the pandemic. Our business was affected dramatically as we saw our clients cancel Spring Break activities and beyond.
For over a month we cared for 2 boarders, and grooming clients by running a skeleton staff. It was a difficult Spring. And through all of it our hope is that all of you are safe and healthy.
We believe our highest responsibility is to the pet entrusted to our care, the owner who employs our services, and our staff of dedicated professionals.
With all of this in mind we have implemented some changes:
At check in or check out if you prefer to remain in your vehicle, just call us and we will be happy to come outside to assist. If the phone isn't answered immediately we are on another line. Leave a message or wait a minute and call back. You are important to us! We will be with you as soon as we can.
A Kennel Tech will bring your pet into the facility or out of the facility on an easily sanitized kennel leash. You can keep your dog's leash and collar with your.
We have added curbside credit card processing as well to make payments easier too.
Our retail store has dog food, cat food, Pet Deli Chew treats, and more. We are small but we carry high quality foods - the same ones we feed our own pets.
Our lobby is not large. We ask that you try to be aware and limit capacity to one customer (or family) at a time.

If you have been to BlooMoon you know that even after 15 years of business, our facility always smells clean, looks clean and is clean. Because the health of our boarders, customers and staff has always been of chief importance and concern.

I love bringing my 5 doggos there. Bloomoon makes my big lab (Diesel) who is always nervous about going anywhere, very comfortable and calm. They feed them what you want them to. The service there is incredible. They are always helpful and just great to talk to. They also sell very good quality toys.
