looMoon Pet Resort is located on 2.5 wooded acres near Chico, Texas. The 10,000 square foot facility is climate controlled. The facility and our daily procedures are designed to minimize stress for our boarding guests. We strive to understand what each individual pet requires to be happy, safe and content while in our care.

BlooMoon is closed to the public from 12 pm until 2 pm Monday through Friday
Monday - Friday: 7AM - 12PM
Monday - Friday: 2PM - 5:30PM
Saturday: 8AM - 2PM
Sunday: 3PM - 5PM only
Closed for picking up and dropping off on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day, and July 4th
(we will be caring for our boarders but our offices will be closed to the public).
After hours pick up/drop off by appointment ONLY - $35.00 additional fee
Reservations Deposits and Cancellations
Make Reservations to Board at BlooMoon
BlooMoon operates much like a hotel for people. You should call ahead and make reservations for your pet's stay. Availability during busy holidays becomes limited so reserve early for those dates!
Just like checking into a hotel for people, boarding charges begin on the day of drop off regardless of time. And much like a hotel for people, there is a check out time which is 12 noon. Therefore, there is no charge for the departure day Monday through Saturday if you check your pet out by 12:00 noon! If you check your pet out after 12 noon, the next billing cycle has begun and you will be charged for that night as well. There is always a full charge when picking up on Sunday, which means if you drop off your pet on a Saturday and pick up on Sunday it is a 2 night charge. Boarding dogs who are being groomed may check out as late as 2 pm, if the groom is on the day of departure, with out a charge. It is best for your pet that you check-in NO LATER than one hour before closing. Advance reservations for all holidays and for weekends are advised.
RESERVATION REQUEST For New or Returning Guests
This reservation request is not a confirmed reservation until you hear back from our staff to confirm the reservation. If you don't hear back within 24 hours - please phone us at (940) 644-2722.
Deposits and Cancelllation Policy
Reservations require a 1 night non refundable deposit to confirm the reservation. All deposits are non refundable and cannot be credited towards any other service. Any boarding reservation cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit and 50% of any fees paid for the entire time frame of the reservation.
Peak Times (summer and holiday time periods) have a 2 week no change policy. At 2 weeks from the date your departure begins, any changed in reduction of schedule or cancellation will result in FULL forfeit of fees paid on the original reserved dates.
No shows of boarding reservations will result in 100% forfeiture of fees and deposit of the reserved time.
Changes or cancellations to boarding reservations should be made in writing to info@bloomoonpetresort.com
Check-In Hours at BlooMoon
It is best to check your pet in at least one hour before we close. You may check your pet in to BlooMoon anytime during our business hours. Allow up to 30 minutes for check-in if your and your pet are new to our facility. You will be charged for boarding the day you check in, regardless of what time you check in.
Check-Out Hours at BlooMoon
Check-out time is 12 noon, Monday through Saturday, to avoid an extra day’s charge. There is always a charge for Sundays. If you pick up your pet before your scheduled check-out date, you will be charged for any remaining reserved days unless appropriate notice has been given.
Early Pick-Up from BlooMoon
We require a 24 hour change notice at all times for early pick up or you will be charged for days reserved. During holidays we require additional time notice.
After Hours Check-In or Check-Out at BlooMoon
Checking in or out after office hours is available by prior arrangement or reservation only. The charge for after hours service is an additional $35.00 per pet fee.

We offer overnight and longer stay boarding. We also offer Day Boarding. Day Boarders enjoy the same benefits as overnight boarders!
We offer grooming for all breeds of dogs!
Whether it's a cut for a Poodle, or a bath and nail trim for a Great Dane, BlooMoon grooming will have your dog looking and smelling fantastic!

BlooMoon offers a variety of classes designed to help you and your dog develop confidence and communication! From puppy kindergarten to agility, we have a class that will be fun and educational for your dog.
Our classes are both outdoors and indoors in our large training room.
