Brenda Howard, President and owner, brings 26 years of advertising and marketing experience to BlooMoon Pet Resort. She attended college on a scholastic scholarship and earned her degree in advertising art with a minor in journalism from NTSU in 1977. She has held the position of art and creative director for advertising agencies in Dallas, Chicago, and Fort Worth, and owned her own successful advertising agency for the over 20 years. She has been a member of the American Bloodhound Club since 1988 and has been breeding, training and showing her bloodhounds for the last 20 years. In 1995 she became managing editor of the American Bloodhound Club Bulletin, the national publication of the American Bloodhound Club. She won the Maxwell award from the Professional Dog Writer’s Association three years in a row for best breed club magazine in the U. S. Brenda and her husband Walt have shown twelve bloodhounds to their AKC conformation ring championships. She has taught canine obedience training to the Wise County 4-H club and to the community. Brenda has been a member of the American Boarding Kennel Association since 1999. She is the past president of the South Central Bloodhound Club, a regional club with over 120 members.
Walt Partin, Vice President and owner, has been in the printing industry in
the Metroplex for 41 years. He was in production management for 21 years in
positions from department head to plant manager. He has been in sales for
the last 20 years with sales from one to two million dollars annually. He
has been a sales representative servicing national accounts with Motheral
Printing Company since 1993. Motheral is a large commercial printer in Fort
Worth. Walt has been a member of the American Bloodhound Club since 1988 and
has served on the board of directors and as vice president. Walt served as
the breed rescue director for the South Central Bloodhound Club for 10
years. Through his direction, SCBC adopted out over two hundred bloodhounds
rescued from pounds and shelters in a seven state area.
