Rates & Services
BlooMoon operates much like a hotel for people. Just like checking into a hotel for people, boarding charges begin on the day of drop off regardless of time. And much like a hotel for people, there is a check out time which is 12 noon. Therefore, there is no charge for the departure day Mon-Sat if you check your pet out by 12:00 noon! If you check your pet out after 12 noon, the next billing cycle has begun and you will be charged for that night as well. There is always a full charge when picking up on Sunday, which means if you drop off your pet on a Saturday and pick up on Sunday it is a 2 night charge. Boarding dogs who are being groomed may check out as late as 2 pm with out a charge. Check-in times should be NO LATER than one hour before closing. Advance reservations for all holidays and for weekends are advised.
Checking In
Pets need to be checked in at least one hour before we close. Allow up to 45 minutes for check-in.You will be charged for boarding the first night following check in, regardless of time of check in.
Checking Out
Check-out time is 12 noon, Monday through Saturday, to avoid an extra day’s charge. There is always a charge for Sundays. If you pick up your pet before your scheduled check-out date, you will be charged for any remaining reserved days unless appropriate notice has been given.
Early Pick Up
We require a 24 hour change notice at all times for early pick up or you will be charged for days reserved. During holidays we require additional time notice.
Boarding Rates
- Dog boarding: $20.00 a night*
- Kuranda runs are $22.00 a night
- House mates sharing a run - second dog is $16.00 a night
- * Pit Bulls - because this breed has special requirements the cost for boarding is $30.00 a night. Pit Bulls may not be boarded doubled (2 dogs sharing a run).
Special Bath Prices for Our Boarding Guests
- Dogs boarding 7 nights or more will receive a complementary bath.
- Dogs boarding 3 nights up to 6 nights can purchase a bath
for $10.00
- Dogs boarding 2 nights or less can purchase a bath for $15.00
Monthly boarding (30 DAY MINIMUM) $18.00
- Monthly boarders will be given complimentary baths
and will enjoy extra attention & play time.
- Monthly boarders must provide their own food
- Second dogs in the run will be billed at the normal double boarding
rate of $16.00
Cat boarding $12.00 a night
- Second cat sharing a condo is $6.00 a night
Critter boarding $5.00 a night
- Pets that aren’t cats, dogs or birds!
Large Bird Boarding $8.00 a night
- Parrots, Macaws, Conures and similar sized birds -
Small Bird Boarding $6.00 a night
- Parakeets, Finches, Cockatiels and similar
Doggie Day Boarding $10.00 per day.
We welcome dogs 9 weeks old and older. Pets must meet all standard boarding requirements (for its age). Day Boarding includes free playtime, and treats.
Pickup and Delivery
Available by Reservation only.
- .50 cents per mile with a $20.00 minimum each direction
Medications
(PLEASE BRING INSTRUCTIONS FROM VETERINARIAN)
We do not charge an additional fee for administering the medications your pet may require. We ask that you provide us with clear directions as to how much and how often medications need to be given.
Bringing your own Food
We do not charge additionally if you prefer to bring your own food for us to feed your pet. Food must be in a sealed container with clear feeding instructions attached, or you may choose to bag meals in zip lock bags.
Bedding
BlooMoon will provide a soft bed for your dog during it’s stay. If your dog chews bedding, please advise us before boarding and alternative non-chewable bedding will be provided. If your dog chews soft bedding provided by BlooMoon, you will be charged for the cost of the bed.
Bringing Toys from Home
We ask that you clearly label such items with your last name and the pets name and limit it to 3 items total. We cannot guarantee the return of these items. Please only bring items you consider to be “disposable”. Do not bring your pet's favorite toy since it may not come home with you. We suggest you bring new toys that will stimulate your pet’s interest.
We Care Warranty
$1.00 per day for injury/Illness Vet care while your dog stays at BlooMoon Pet Resort See warranty agreement for details
Group Playtime
$2.00 a day. This service is available for spayed and neutered dogs. You must give your consent for Group Play Time and your dog must pass our temperament test. She / he will play with other dogs of similar temperament, size and play style. If your dog does not pass our temperament test, she / he will be outside twice each day in the play area by itself. Grooming
- By appointment.

- $25.00 and up based on size*
- *An additional fee will be charged for dogs with
excessively matted hair.
Private Time for Your Dog
- 20 MINUTES for $5.00
- Private walk - $5.00 walk around the property
- Ball toss / frisbee - $5.00 - 30 minutes 2 x’s a day
- Individual petting time $5.00 - 30 minutes
- Senior Service Time $5.00 a day -
You tell us what your senior dog needs during private time.
Vaccinations Required*
Dogs:
- DHLPP, Parvo, Bordetella (may be required every 6 months), and Rabies.
Cats:
FVRCP, Leukemia, and Rabies
*PROOF OF VACCINATION RECORD FROM VETERINARIAN REQUIRED.
Emergencies
In case of a medical emergency, we transport to the closest veterinarian. We then notify your veterinarian. Then we call you at the emergency number you provide. Please notify us about any pertinent medical history or problems with your pet. If your pet becomes ill and it is not an emergency, we contact your veterinarian and are happy to transport your pet for a visit to your vet.
